Blue Mountain Lavender Farm is a small agro-tourism operation in the Walla Walla Valley of eastern Washington. The farm is open to the public in spring and early summer for plant sales, U-pick of 25 varieties of lavender, and lavender DIY classes. The backdrop of the Blue Mountains provides beautiful opportunities for photographers, painters, and visitors who savor la joie de vivre. The on-site Farm Boutique features artisanal lavender goods including dried bouquets, sachets, a curated selection of bath and body products, culinary accoutrements, and dried lavender buds by the pound.
Following the decision to cultivate a rural setting for their lives, the Grimaud family moved from France to Washington State in 2000. This journey landed them on 10 acres of land with a desire to grow lavender, France's quintessential crop. Family owned and operated, nearly all the care, including planting, weeding, harvesting, drying, and processing, is carried out by hand.
